dedicated Retail-FT Store Manager to join our retail team in Dallas, TX. This
role is pivotal in supporting the overall management of store operations,

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure smooth functioning.
• Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize product presentation.
• Handle cashiering duties, including cash handling, POS system operation, and balancing registers accurately.
• Support recruiting efforts through interviewing potential candidates and participating in employee orientation and training.
• Implement effective pricing strategies and promotional activities aligned with company policies.
• Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and assist in budgeting and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards across the store.
• Supervise staff scheduling, shift management, and employee development initiatives.
• Foster a positive team environment through clear communication, leadership, and conflict resolution.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles within a retail environment.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems, inventory management software, and retail math principles.
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
• Experience with payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and operational management.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Effective managerial communication skills with a focus on leadership and team development.
• Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques, merchandising strategies, and pricing policies.
• Basic math proficiency for daily financial transactions and inventory calculations.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as required.

· Dance, Theatre and Arts experience not mandatory but helpful

· Strong communication skills; leadership qualities

· Available to start immediately

· Strong computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office

· Strong selling strategies when it comes to fashion and dance apparel

· Ability to manage/train staff members

· Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and certain holidays.

· Ability to work a minimum of two weekend shifts per fiscal month.

· Ability to work a minimum of two opening shifts and two closing shifts per calendar week.

· Must have knowledge of basic math functions (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and calculating percentages).

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws. Including but not limited to:

· Planning, assigning and directing work

· Appraising performance
