Rated 3 out of 5 by from I have NOT danced in them I'm not happy with the fit. The last pair of dance shoes I bought was a 71/2. I wear an size 81/2-9 street shoe. I ordered the 81/2M. Too small. So I ordered the 9M. Still tight. The foot pads/sole don't seem to line up w/ my foot. I'm not sure if I should try the 9 1/2, or just consider another shoe. If I wear them to give them a good try out; I won't be able to return them. And If I don't, dance in them I won't know if they'll break in. Currently at an impasse. I already own several pairs of dance shoes that I can no longer wear. I miss the old style that I've worn for years, and they discontinued.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unfortunately, I am rating Unfortunately, I am rating these shoes based on the fit. I have ordered them twice now already with no luck in finding the correct size. They come way too small. I am now trying to order them 1.5 size larger than the sizing guide, since that was recommended by another reviewer. I hope that the third time's a charm. They are super cute, seem durable and comfortable if you're able to find the right fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these shoes! I love these shoes! It took three tries to get the right sizing. I would recommend ordering 1.5 size up from your normal shoe size as these run very small. Other than the sizing fiasco, the shoes are wonderful!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sizing chart is way off! I ordered my son these shoes and used the shoe sizing chart provided. I even went up a whole size from wgat was recommended and the shoes are at least 2 sizes too small. I'm So disappointed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Freeform Ballet Shoes I love the Freeform Ballet Shoes. They are beautiful and well-made with comfortable material. The size recommender recommended a size 7 but they are a bit small so I think a half size up would be perfect. Not sure if a full size up would be too big.

The site indicated that men should order these shoes 2 sizes larger, but this was not indicated for women. I ordered the shoes the same size as my street size, and they are too small. The return process was onerous, so I'm just eating the loss :(

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just okay :( I'm not really sure HOW to rate the size to be honest and I'm not sure if my foot is just a weird shape maybe? BUT- I ordered several pairs of these (all different sizes that would technically be my size but I ordered sizes up and down of my normal ballet shoe size) -figuring I'd fit in at least one of them and then sell the ones leftover at my studio to my students. NONE of these shoes will stay on my foot! :( Not sure if I'm wearing the strap wrong somehow but I wear it just like it's pictured! I've tried on 4 different pairs and absolutely none of them will fit/stay on my foot. The straps slide everywhere and the heel just pops out/off and won't stay secured to my heel. Very sad :( These shoes are GORGEOUS and supportive (I like my ballet shoes tighter) and the point that they create in the foot is breath taking but the shoes refuse to stay on my foot no matter how hard I tug them on and no matter what size I wear. Bummer! Hopefully other dancers have had better luck! I LOVE CAPEZIO and their fabulous products, but devestated that these beautiful shoes won't stay on my foot :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing shoes!! I used Amazing shoes!! I used them all week for dance and I had 4 hours a day but they got extremly dirty and I think I will need new pairs quicker than usual jazz shoes. But, freeforms are amazing shoes.

Exceptions to Return Policy

Products that are marked as CLOSEOUT are being offered as a final sale. No returns or exchanges of any kind will be accepted.

Purchases made using promotional cash (e.g. CAPEZIO CASH) or winnings will be given a replacement promotional credit on receipt of the return, however the buyer will be responsible for all return shipping costs. No return shipping labels will be offered.

Capezio will accept returns of products that have been "tried on," but the Capezio Return Policy does not apply to returned products that show signs of distressed use (e.g. markings on the sole of a shoe or makeup/deodorant stains on a garment). Returned products that show signs of distressed use will be returned back to the customer.

In cases of fraudulent use or abuse of the Capezio Return Policy, the Capezio Return Policy does not apply.

Here's what you do if you had created an account:
  • Sign in to your Capezio.com account
  • Click "Account"
  • Click "Order History" in the left hand navigation
  • Click "View Order" for the order you wish to return
  • Click "Return" (below the shopping cart) then specify the item you wish to return as well as the condition and reason for return
  • Click "Submit" and the return request will be submitted to Capezio Customer Service (Please allow up to 3 days for approval)
  • When approved you will receive 2 emails: i) a returns merchandising authorization (RMA) and ii) a pre-paid free returns shipping label
  • Print out the RMA and include in the package along with the product(s) and attach the pre-paid shipping label to the package
  • Drop the package off at your nearest UPS store
  • Once the package is received you will receive an email confirming that the credit card or PayPal account has been credited
Here's what you do if you signed out as a GUEST:
  • Reply to either your order or shipping confirmation email and state which items you would like to return
