Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ran narrow - I Ran narrow - I ended up purchasing another 1/2 size larger and in wide compared to my usual street shoe size. Their \\\"Capezio Size\\\" tool was helpful but my particular feet are occasionally wide for other shoes as well. Although I struggle with the buckle on both styles I've tried (I discovered I could set the size and just slide in and out each time I wear them), the shoes appear to be very good quality and I can't wait to try them out on the dance floor!\\\ \\\ I plan to use these for East and West Coast Swing, Ballroom, Latin, and other social dance situations in addition to very occasional use as a dress shoe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect choice & fit Because charcater shoes are required, I bought these a little grudgingly for a community show I am in this spring. I didn't want to spend the money and need them for only this one play. But, my friend reminded me that I always need black shoes for choir performances and assured me that they would be comfortable and I would get plenty of use out of them. She was right. They are comfortable and I feel like I am putting on \\\"special shoes\\\" when I wear them. I got the 1 1/2\\\" heel since I typically don't wear heels at all and they are manageable. I purchased a half size up as suggetsed and the fit is just right.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Back to a Classic I used to wear these shoes at practice during my dancing days (now long ago). I am 77 now, and my feet are paying the price for decades of wearing 4 inch heels during my long career onstage. I needed a nice, black closed toe, simple shoe to wear when I sing in the alto with the Master Chorale. I finally thought of the Capezio shoes of my dancing days. They are PERFECT and comfortable for standing for 2 plus hours during a Chorale concert!

I use these character shoes for two of my HS choirs (black for one ensemble and caramel for the other), and the ladies get so excited when it's time to put on their shoes around performance time! They seem to be comfortable, as long as you get the correct size; make sure you order at least a half or full size higher than whatever shoe size they would normally wear. We're very happy with our service from Capezio!

I have bought more than 4 pairs of shoes trying to find the right fit, right style, right price. I finally went to Capezio.com, ordered the shoes, and waited. They are perfect in everyway. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Older Model Better I loved this shoe when I first bought it back in 2015; after many shoes it was the only one that fit like a glove. Unfortunately the same exact model I put on recently left me feeling not as satisfied. The cushioning feels thinner and I immediately felt the heal base. It is still the best fitting shoe for my long but narrow feet and extra narrow heels. The comfort however is not the same.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Character shoes and ballet slippers I'm no dancer, but these shoes fit like a glove! I'm so happy to rediscover Capezio after all these years, on line! 35 years ago I bought my first Capezio character shoes, in white, for a wedding, at a Capezio shop in downtown Boston. I dyed them black post wedding and wore then to little nubs. Love the ballet slippers too, for wearing as just slippers!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my new dance shoes The service was great. I ordered the medium but needed the wide and the exchange went extremely well. Theses are my second pair . I wore the first pair out,but I didn’t remember that they were a wide. Like I said they are my favorite dance shoes. I don’t wear them when I compete but for lessons and social dancing they are great.

Exceptions to Return Policy

Products that are marked as CLOSEOUT are being offered as a final sale. No returns or exchanges of any kind will be accepted.

Purchases made using promotional cash (e.g. CAPEZIO CASH) or winnings will be given a replacement promotional credit on receipt of the return, however the buyer will be responsible for all return shipping costs. No return shipping labels will be offered.

Capezio will accept returns of products that have been "tried on," but the Capezio Return Policy does not apply to returned products that show signs of distressed use (e.g. markings on the sole of a shoe or makeup/deodorant stains on a garment). Returned products that show signs of distressed use will be returned back to the customer.

In cases of fraudulent use or abuse of the Capezio Return Policy, the Capezio Return Policy does not apply.

Here's what you do if you had created an account:

  • Click "View Order" for the order you wish to return
  • Click "Return" (below the shopping cart) then specify the item you wish to return as well as the condition and reason for return

  • When approved you will receive 2 emails: i) a returns merchandising authorization (RMA) and ii) a pre-paid free returns shipping label
  • Print out the RMA and include in the package along with the product(s) and attach the pre-paid shipping label to the package
  • Drop the package off at your nearest UPS store
  • Once the package is received you will receive an email confirming that the credit card or PayPal account has been credited
