Rated 2 out of 5 by from I have worn Capezio I have worn Capezio character shoes as organ shoes for over 20 years. I have to say I'm a bit disappointed in my most recent purchase. I don't know if it's the material (PU uppers) or a change in the size, but they are uncomfortable to wear and play in. My feet actually hurt after wearing them. I wrote to Capezio (in a chat) earlier to ask what I could do to better break them in. I was told simply to keep wearing them. There has not really been any improvement. I'm assuming it's been too long and I've worn them, so I doubt a return is possible. I don't know if a large size would be different, but at this point I don't really want the expense of another pair of shoes. There is another brand of similar shoes I have tried that do have leather uppers (for about the same price), and they seem very comfortable. There are other aspects of Capezio that I like better for playing organ pedals (like hard leather soles), but again, don't know that I want to keep purchasing shoes. I'm sorry to report being unhappy with the newest product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The shoe is fine The shoe is fine except that the size is wrong.\\\ I use these for pipe organ shoes. I have used a pair of\\\ capezeos that I used for a long time. Then I ordered a new\\\ pair but the no longer had a leather sole so they did not work.\\\ They also were too tight even though they were the same size\\\ as I had formerly worn. So, I ordered the overture oxford because\\\ they have the leather sole that I need. I ordered 1/2 size larger,\\\ had the heels built up a bit as per usual, tired the on and they did\\\ not fit: too short and too tight. These size 9 are considerably shorter\\\ that the previous 8. 5 I had. \\\ \\\ So, now I will order a 9.5 oxford and see first if it fits then build up\\\ the heel.\\\ \\\ I have not, of course tired to send either of the non-fitting pairs back\\\ because it was my fault for not trying them on first.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Capezio shoes aren't just Capezio shoes aren't just for dancers! I'm an organist and use them to navigate the pedals. They are much better than ordinary dress shoes for this purpose because they hug your feet, and one has much more control. The all-leather undersides just glide on the pedals. My performance would be hampered by any other footwear.

I ordered the smallest size Capezio makes in these shoes, and they're too big. (I'm female.) It would be helpful to have woman-sized flat, leather-soled shoes. They rub a bit, but I think they will break in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from He likes them! My son bought these for theatre arts. He says they are very comfortable and fit very well. We initially bought a 9.5, but he needed a 10 wide -- they run small and narrow, unless that was an odd case. He is happy with them!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was worried they'd I was worried they'd be too tight as I'm really a 12.5 - and you don't offer any shoes larger than 12 mens. But they fit. They are snug but not uncomfortable and they are light and easy to dance in. I'm quite happy with them.

Exceptions to Return Policy

Products that are marked as CLOSEOUT are being offered as a final sale. No returns or exchanges of any kind will be accepted.

Purchases made using promotional cash (e.g. CAPEZIO CASH) or winnings will be given a replacement promotional credit on receipt of the return, however the buyer will be responsible for all return shipping costs. No return shipping labels will be offered.

Capezio will accept returns of products that have been "tried on," but the Capezio Return Policy does not apply to returned products that show signs of distressed use (e.g. markings on the sole of a shoe or makeup/deodorant stains on a garment). Returned products that show signs of distressed use will be returned back to the customer.

In cases of fraudulent use or abuse of the Capezio Return Policy, the Capezio Return Policy does not apply.

Here's what you do if you had created an account:
  • Sign in to your Capezio.com account
  • Click "Account"
  • Click "Order History" in the left hand navigation
  • Click "View Order" for the order you wish to return
  • Click "Return" (below the shopping cart) then specify the item you wish to return as well as the condition and reason for return
  • Click "Submit" and the return request will be submitted to Capezio Customer Service (Please allow up to 3 days for approval)
  • When approved you will receive 2 emails: i) a returns merchandising authorization (RMA) and ii) a pre-paid free returns shipping label
  • Print out the RMA and include in the package along with the product(s) and attach the pre-paid shipping label to the package
  • Drop the package off at your nearest UPS store
  • Once the package is received you will receive an email confirming that the credit card or PayPal account has been credited
Here's what you do if you signed out as a GUEST:
  • Reply to either your order or shipping confirmation email and state which items you would like to return
  • When approved you will receive 2 emails: i) a returns merchandising authorization (RMA) and ii) a pre-paid free returns shipping label
  • Include either your original packing list or the RMA in the return package along with the product(s) and attach the pre-paid shipping label to the outside of the package
  • Drop the package off at your nearest UPS store
