Dates: The contest runs from 12:00PM ET on October 6, 2026 through 11:59PM ET on November 1, 2026.
Eligibility: Open to legal U.S. residents 18 or older. A parent or legal guardian may enter on behalf of a child under 18. Employees of Sponsor and participating stores, and their immediate families, are not eligible. Limit one entry per person.
How to enter: Enter here by uploading one photo of the costume and accepting the Photo Release.
Judging: Judges selected by Sponsor score each entry on creativity (40%), craftsmanship (30%), and overall impact (30%). The top-scoring entry at each participating store wins a store prize, and the top-scoring entry overall wins the grand prize. Ties go to the higher creativity score. Social media likes and votes do not count. Judges' decisions are final.
Prizes: One $100 Capezio gift card per participating store (7 total) and one $250 Capezio gift card for the overall winner. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash and are subject to their own terms. A store winner may not also win the overall prize.
Winners: Winners will be notified by email or phone by 11/4/26 and must respond within 5 days, or the prize may go to the next-highest-scoring entry.
Photo use: The Photo Release on the entry form governs use of the likeness of each person shown. By entering, entrants also grant Sponsor and participating stores a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, edit, and share the entry photo, including on social media. Entrants confirm they took the photo or have permission to submit it, that everyone pictured agreed to the Photo Release, and that they are the parent or guardian of anyone under 18 pictured.
Winners: Winners will be notified by email or phone by November 3, 2026 and must respond within 30 days, or the prize may go to the next-highest-scoring entry.
Note: You must be able to pick up the gift card at the local store that you selected on the form, and that if you are not able to pick it up within 30 days of notification that you won, then the prize is deemed forfeited.
