Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Beginner Shoe I should start by saying that I am male and finding suze 12 in tap shoes was challenging.\\\ \\\ Most tap shoe sizes are womens and they only go upto 12. I was very happy to fin Capezio carries men's sizes.\\\ \\\ When they arrived and I saw them I was concerned because they looked small. \\\ \\\ However, upon trying them on they fit fine they just seemed a but narrow. After wearing them for a week at least an hour each day they have broken in just fine.\\\ \\\ Pros\\\ Light shoe\\\ Good fit\\\ Nice sound\\\ Averge comfort\\\ \\\ Cons\\\ Insoles lack padding \\\ \\\ Overall it is a very nice beginner shoe and it won't break the bank.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from We chose this shoe We chose this shoe as a cheaper alternative compared to the full leather shoe. My daughter is an intermediate tap dancer and the shoe did not give enough and formed creases causing discomfort due to the man made material. It looks well made and attractive but the material did not allow for full range of motion. In the end we decided to spend the money on the full leather shoe bought in store at our local Capezio.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good shoes but can slip off I got size 5 based on the recommendation that i should 1.5 sizes down from street size. when it first put them on, they fit well, but after a couple days of wearing them, they stretched out I supposed and they became a little loose on my foot. I am somehow managing by tying the top lace very tight, but it is still a little loose...so keep in mind they will strech.\\\ \\\ It's comfortable and I like the color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sizing was a Monster! After ordering 3 times, we finally found a pair that fit! She had an older pair (6.5) and knew her foot had grown (current street shoe size 7.5). First order was a 7... MUCH TOO BIG! Second order was a 6 (at the recommended size chart conversion)... still too big! Third order was for both 5 & 5.5... the 5 FINALLY worked! What an ordeal!

The fit was good for me - if anything maybe go half a size smaller than street size because you want them snug but it depends on the thickness of your socks or whether you wear socks at all. Material is comfortable and seems sturdy

She doesn’t tap during the year so we didn’t want to invest in a more expensive shoe. These turned out to be perfect. They were comfortable, sounds were clear, and she liked them.

I'm so glad I ordered them through Capezio because I wouldn't have known I have a different tap shoe size versus my street shoe size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great dance shoe I’m a beginning tap dancer and the shoes are great! The only issue I have (if you can call it that) is the fact that I did size 1 1/2 sizes down from my normal shoe size which is 6 1/2 to size 5 as recommended but they are still a little bit big (long).

Exceptions to Return Policy

Products that are marked as CLOSEOUT are being offered as a final sale. No returns or exchanges of any kind will be accepted.

Purchases made using promotional cash (e.g. CAPEZIO CASH) or winnings will be given a replacement promotional credit on receipt of the return, however the buyer will be responsible for all return shipping costs. No return shipping labels will be offered.

Capezio will accept returns of products that have been "tried on," but the Capezio Return Policy does not apply to returned products that show signs of distressed use (e.g. markings on the sole of a shoe or makeup/deodorant stains on a garment). Returned products that show signs of distressed use will be returned back to the customer.

In cases of fraudulent use or abuse of the Capezio Return Policy, the Capezio Return Policy does not apply.

Here's what you do if you had created an account:
  • Sign in to your Capezio.com account
  • Click "Account"
  • Click "Order History" in the left hand navigation
  • Click "View Order" for the order you wish to return
  • Click "Return" (below the shopping cart) then specify the item you wish to return as well as the condition and reason for return
  • Click "Submit" and the return request will be submitted to Capezio Customer Service (Please allow up to 3 days for approval)
  • When approved you will receive 2 emails: i) a returns merchandising authorization (RMA) and ii) a pre-paid free returns shipping label
  • Print out the RMA and include in the package along with the product(s) and attach the pre-paid shipping label to the package
  • Drop the package off at your nearest UPS store
  • Once the package is received you will receive an email confirming that the credit card or PayPal account has been credited
Here's what you do if you signed out as a GUEST:
  • Reply to either your order or shipping confirmation email and state which items you would like to return
  • When approved you will receive 2 emails: i) a returns merchandising authorization (RMA) and ii) a pre-paid free returns shipping label
  • Include either your original packing list or the RMA in the return package along with the product(s) and attach the pre-paid shipping label to the outside of the package
  • Drop the package off at your nearest UPS store
